New 2011 Toyota-RAV4-Tesla

The 2011 RAV4 is equipped with a modern technology called brake-override system where the engine power is automatically reduced when the driver steps on the brake and accelerator pedals at the same time. The upcoming RAV4 model is available in 2.5-liter four cylinder engine with 19 horsepower output and 172 pound-feet of torque.This type of engine is only available in the four-speed automatic transmission. The other type of engine available for the RAV4 is a V6 which is capable of 268 horsepower output and 246 pound-feet of torque.

The RAV4 is soon to get a hybrid model, which is supposed to hit the market some time in 2011. Until then, the gasoline driven variant is the only one available, but weekend adventurers should not worry, even the general model of this SUV is enough to satisfy the adventurer in you.
